Anton’s move from creative director to behind the camera in 2004 didn’t go unnoticed. In his debut year he picked up a Cannes shortlist and second place in the CFP-Shots young director awards.
He has followed this by consistently winning awards, adding to his collection of metal from Cannes, D&AD and Clios. Anton also sat on the judging panel at the inaugral Young Guns in Sydney in 2001.
His background as a writer gives him extraordinary insights into scripts and he is known for his ability to push ideas and concepts. More specifically he has a unique way with comedy and performance. Often getting memorable moments out of non-actors and everyday people.
His spots for First for Women, Stimorol, Wimpy and Warbartons have gained a huge following and have been featured on Adsoftheworld, Bestadsontv and Shots. His most recent ad for Yellow Pages ‘Golden Plunger’ has gained an equal amount of attention and was listed as a shots contender, further establishing his formidable reputation as director and creative collaborator.
