Jeana Theron

Jeana’s first commercial was shortlisted in the Cfp-Shots Young Director Award (YDA) at Cannes 2006 and Jeana was part of a select few chosen amongst thousands of the world’s finest young directors to feature in the Shots Young Director’s issue 2007. Jeana then went on to feature on the cover of Shots magazine as one of SA’s up and coming directorial talents.

Jeana Theron spent her formative years at Velocity heading the creative department. It was here that she gained invaluable experience from being involved in the creative process of award winning commercials from the likes of directors Keith Rose & Greg Gray. The insight and practical knowledge gained over the years coupled with her technical artistic abilities, has provided the perfect platform for her to deliver cutting edge, visually captivating and relevant advertising. In 2007 she won a Gold Loerie for her spot for Cell C with well known South African Kwaito music star Zola and agency Net#work BBDO.
